Your wedding is about connection, emotion and life. The secret behind great wedding photography does not reside in any darkroom or computer. The magic comes from you and it is my job to be in the right place at the right time to photograph it for you and all to see.
As a photographer, I capture moments in time; seizing the emotions and energy of my subjects and their experience. While my work has been compared to art, I personally feel that art is around us at all times. It is up to us to see, capture and remember it. I am honoured to spend my days seeing, capturing and helping others remember.
I have travelled the country and the globe photographing unique commissions, milestones, characters and places. As such, I accept only a handful of wedding commissions each year to ensure exceptional attention and service on your special day.
I want you to have wedding photographs that look good today and 30 years from now. I avoid trendy techniques or computer tricks that change the beauty of a person or a moment. My work is inspired by the greats such as Robert Doisneau and Henri Cartier Bresson. I expect that my clients, their children and their grand children will look back on the images we gather and comment on how real and beautiful everyone looked on your special day.
